1. Purpose & Acceptance
This Dualy Creator Code of Conduct ("Code of Conduct") sets out the community standards for everyone who creates, hosts, or watches content on Dualy. It is incorporated by reference into, and enforced under, the Dualy Creator Terms & Conditions (Section 9, Community Standards & Acceptable Use Policy, and Section 10, Suspensions). By enrolling in the Creator Program or using Dualy at all, you agree to follow this Code of Conduct.
2. Our Values
Dualy is built around Communal Media — real, live connection between Creators and their audience, where Creators get paid before they go viral rather than chasing algorithmic reach. That only works if the platform is safe. This Code of Conduct exists so every Creator can build a real audience and every fan can show up without worrying about what they'll encounter.
3. Who This Applies To
This Code of Conduct applies to every user on Dualy, whether you are a paid Creator who has completed identity verification or a free-tier user who has not. It applies to live sessions, recorded replays, Creator profiles, the Marketplace, and direct messages — anywhere on Dualy that a user can post, broadcast, or interact with another user.
4. Prohibited Content
Dualy prohibits monetizing, posting, or broadcasting content in any of the following categories, consistent with Section 9 of the Creator Terms & Conditions:
4.1 Adult Content and Services
No nudity or explicit sexual acts, in any form — including subscriber-only nude images, adult audio or video live chat, sexually explicit performances, or any service arranging or facilitating sexual content or activity.
4.2 Intellectual Property, Proprietary Rights & Copyright Infringement
No content that infringes another party's trademarks, trade secrets, rights of publicity, patents, or copyrights — including leaked or unauthorized music albums, unlicensed video or audio recordings, or pirated software.
4.3 Violent Extremism & Hate Speech
No content that engages in, encourages, promotes, or celebrates unlawful violence or violent extremism, and no hate speech directed at any individual or group based on race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or any other immutable characteristic.
5. Respectful Conduct
Beyond the prohibited content categories above, every user is expected to treat others with basic respect:
- No harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse of any user, whether a Creator, fan, or co-host.
- No impersonation of another person, brand, or Creator.
- No spam, scams, or attempts to defraud fans or Creators.
- No coordinated efforts to manipulate views, tips, ticket sales, or ratings.
- No doxxing or sharing another user's private information without consent.
6. Live Session Standards
Because all Dualy content originates from live sessions, Creators are expected to host in good faith:
- Accurately describe what a Ticketed Room or session includes before fans pay to join.
- Deliver the session substantially as advertised.
- Show up for scheduled sessions; repeated no-shows are enforced under the Creator Terms & Conditions (Section 5.2) in addition to this Code of Conduct.
- Do not covertly record or redistribute private fan interactions outside the platform.
7. Content Moderation Overview
Dualy does not support direct upload of pre-recorded content — the only way to create content on Dualy is to go live. Every live session is screened by machine learning models in real time, before it is broadcast to any viewer. If a suspected violation is detected, the stream is automatically terminated and escalated to a trained human moderator, who makes the final call. Recorded replays are generated only from sessions that have already passed through this review. Full detail on how this pipeline works is in the Dualy Trust & Safety Policy.
8. Strike Policy
Confirmed violations of this Code of Conduct are enforced through a graduated strike system, applied on a rolling basis per verified identity (for Creators) or per account (for free-tier users):
| Strike | Trigger | Consequence |
|---|---|---|
| 1st violation | First confirmed violation | Formal warning issued. Account is placed on a high-scrutiny list for enhanced review. |
| 2nd violation | Second consecutive confirmed violation | Temporary restriction for seven (7) days. Account cannot host live sessions or, if applicable, receive payouts during the restriction. |
| 3rd violation | Third confirmed violation | Permanent removal. Free-tier accounts are permanently banned. Paid Creator accounts are permanently banned together with the underlying verified identity, so the same identity cannot be used to open a new paid account. |
9. Severe Violations
Dualy may bypass the strike policy above and proceed directly to temporary suspension or permanent removal for severe violations — including any violation involving a minor, a credible threat of violence, or other conduct warranting immediate action — regardless of an account's prior history.
10. Zero Tolerance for Minor Safety
Dualy applies zero tolerance to any content or activity that sexualizes, endangers, or otherwise exploits a minor. Any suspected violation involving a minor results in immediate suspension pending investigation, and Dualy will refer the matter to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement as required by law, regardless of the user's account status, tier, or prior history.
11. Reporting & Blocking
Any user can report objectionable content directly from a live session or a saved replay. A report triggers human review together with enhanced AI detection. Independent of reporting, any user can block another user at any time; a blocked user cannot view the blocking user's sessions, replays, or profile, and cannot message or otherwise interact with them. Dualy reviews and acts on reports, including removing violating content and restricting or ejecting the responsible user where warranted, within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt.
12. Appeals
A user who receives a warning, temporary restriction, or permanent removal may appeal through the in-app appeals process within 14 days of the enforcement action. Appeals are reviewed by a human moderator who was not involved in the original decision. Decisions involving confirmed harm to a minor, terrorism, or credible threats of violence are not eligible for appeal.
13. Law Enforcement Cooperation
Dualy cooperates with law enforcement requests consistent with its Privacy Policy and applicable law, and may proactively refer matters involving imminent harm, terrorism, or child exploitation without a prior request.
14. Relationship to Other Documents
This Code of Conduct works together with, and does not replace, the Dualy Creator Terms & Conditions and the Dualy Trust & Safety Policy. Where this Code of Conduct describes a community standard and the Creator Terms & Conditions state a contractual rule, the contractual document governs the legal relationship between Dualy and the user. Dualy may update this Code of Conduct from time to time, consistent with the modification provisions of the Creator Terms & Conditions.
